Yes, Play Wild Beta is here. For those of you guys who want to know, it's for Android phones only (I'm not sure why, but perhaps it has something to do with the fact that it's cheaper to make an app on Google Play?). Anyway, as you guys probably have discovered, it's not searchable on Google Play. And maybe you don't have an up-to-date Android phone (version 4.1 and up)? No worries, we've got that all covered in this post.
First of all, how can I download it? Well, as we've mentioned before, there's a "Play Wild Beta" Google Plus community. It's by invitation only, but there's a link at the top of the community page that leads to the Google Play page, and you can download from there. Fill out the form here.
But of course, you'll have to wait for them to accept. Not up for that? Well, we've got you! Simply click the link here to go to the Google Play page. Hopefully that link works for you.
Now finally, if you don't have a new Android phone/have and iOS (don't worry, rumors have it that and iOS version is coming soon)/don't have a phone in the first place (like me), well, look no further! Introducing . . . computer version!
Now, maybe you've watched wootmoo's video, and maybe you haven't. But anyhow, the steps are below:
First, download Bluestacks App Player here. There's a lot of controversy about how it's going to download a virus onto your computer, you can't uninstall it, blah blah blah. So far, the virus thing has proved a myth (besides, my computer is too virus-wracked anyway to see a difference). To uninstall it, use Revo Uninstall here.
Now that I've got the program, you saw, what about the game? Download Play Wild for the computer here.
Now then. There's that "eternal loading page" (credit goes to +Phoebe Tranile ) at the top of this post. Apparently after an eternity while, it goes past that page and you get to play the game. You know this happens when you get that little purple spinning arrow, but so far this hasn't happened for me. I'm crossing my fingers though.
The pros to Play Wild are better graphics, no member/nonmember division (no exclusive club membership), giving all players the ability to switch colors and more. One slight con is that you can't trade, and everyone's still "New Member."
Overall, I guess, it's basically Animal Jam's golden days with no trading, better graphics, and a new name. Oh and mobile, but it doesn't have to be.
Hope you guys have fun!
