Happy 1st B-day, MUB!

Told you Raina and I were plotting.

Yeah, I lied about it being on Memorial Day.

So, yes, by little baby blog is now one year old! I'm pretty excited that it survived this far, and I'm glad it didn't die at blogbirth.

For those of you guys who don't know, I wrote fabulously long essay for my first post.

But I didn't mention the most important part! That weird quadraped thingy you see up there . . . is our new blog OC! Raina helped by picking out the colors ^^ (I actually started with a flat color version of this drawing, but I couldn't resist adding more shading and details until finally, we came to this XD)

But wait! That's not all! Since we very well couldn't keep the blog as it is (as I mentioned earlier), I changed the layout, too!

I'm still a little unhappy with the background, but the three colors math three of the colors on the OC, so I'm not going to complain too much. However, when I get the chance, I will be drawing a new one. Think of it as temporary!

(Also, you may ask, why the bright coral-ish pink badge when your blog is so . . . neutral colored? Well, this is the same color as our OC's eyes, so I thought it would fit!)

Of course, we have a new title too, plus some kooky new fonts!

But wait! There's still more! You do notice how I'm calling her "the OC," correct? Well, this is because we don't have a name yet! We already have a few in consideration, but I'm willing to hear what you guys come up with!

Also, I went RSS hunting, tried to figure out what it was, failed, but here's the MUB's! Hopefully, that should lead you, if your are a normal, non-computer person, to a page of random text.

I'm still fiddling around with the site (I'll have to change the link colors, this yellow is really ugly), so bear with me!

Raina and I have also discussed adding new elements in our blog, and she agrees! Hopefully I will have time to make some tutorials over this weekend or the next.

So, next topic of change discussion: I'm thinking of reverting the comments to Blogger or Disqus, since it gets kinda messy down there. The downside is that I'll have to delete all your amazing comments you've left me! What do you guys think -- yay or nay?
