I just really hate double-posting . . .

I really do.

Just like how I really love center align.

(It feels like I'm favoring one day over the other . . . you know, posting double one day and none the next. I feel like I have hurt their feelings.)

Anyway, I shall ignore this sense of foreboding and get to the point.

Now, EVERYBODY should by now know that this blog is changing and, hopefully, improving.

Raina and I have opened a little Google+ Hangout to discuss and plan what we shall do. I'm going to be organizing this post by section, since it's such a pain to read the whole thing at once, I know.

Done

Well, I entirely redesigned the banner to make a longer and narrower, so now it's less of an eyesore (and you don't have to look at all of the gory details of my wolf).

The blog favicon has been changed into the badge (it's PURDY!)

I've also added a list of sites -- "What We're Into" -- on the left side of the page. Check them out! There's some pretty awesome ones there. These will be rotated occasionally when we find new stuff (Also, if you've got a site to recommend, I'd like to hear it!)

Planned

First up on the bucket list is creating author bios. We have already determined them to be in first person (because second person is so much better. Third person was sort of . . . eh, but first person was better).

Right now, I would like to clarify that this is NOT an AJ blog. Sure, the header might have my AJ critter on it, but anyone who has read the past couple of posts knows that it isn't. So I have proposed to Raina (and to the public as well, see my G+ post on this) that we expand our blogging to incorporate more things, such as DIY project (that's what I was aiming for, since I have secretly had plans).

Anyway, since this is not an AJ blog, my AJ character couldn't very well be our header. So Raina and I are making some loose plans for a blog OC. We're each going to draw up what we want/our idea (and maybe post them on here, +Raina The Derpy Crow?) and then try to compress them into one (that will take a little more work). Personally, I have no clue what I want this OC to look like. I don't even know if it's going to be a canine (it's just up to whatever we want, so you should be very afraid). Afterwards, we'll determine the name.

Of course, this will mean that the current fabulous layout is only temporary (phew, means a whole lot more work to do . . . a new header, new badge, new layout and font colors.) And poo, this also means that almost all the work in "Done" will have gone to waste :(

Deliberating

Right now, we're deliberating on my previous suggestion (as I mentioned earlier) of whether or not we are going to do the DIY stuff, but I have a lot of projects we could do. I guess one of my main concerns is that this blog will turn into one of those "home" blogs, which it is not. This blog is simply and purely random (which also makes it for a select audience only, since we do AJ stuff too).

Also, a possible event for the MUB's birthday? It's not every day your little blog turns one, now is it? More info is at the "News" blurb up there (and when it says "The Nest," it's a link.
